Rod meets Rt Hon Danny Alexander

In October 2014, Rod met Rt Hon Danny Alexander who has now been both the
Chief Secretary to the Treasury and a Cabinet member for four years. His responsibilities include negotiating with departments about budget allocations, public sector pay, welfare reform and procurement policy.
He also shares the burden of representing the Treasury with the Chancellor of the Exchequer and so is partially responsible for the overall efficient management of HMRC.
